“Kyle” came to New Mexico in July. He had some severe mental conditions that kept him from understanding the procedures he had to go through to receive services at St. Martin’s. However, after talking with our Client Advocate at the St. Martin’s Day Shelter he got some help resolving issues surrounding his birth certificate and was able to obtain an I.D, clean clothes, and some hot food. He was able to reunite with family members and they sent him a bus ticket home. I recently heard from him and he got his old job back. He is beyond grateful to St. Martin’s Hospitality Center and all of the help we offered him. He did not wind up Homeless on the streets of Albuquerque thanks to our amazing staff and our great services!
