What if a cup of coffee could feed the hungry? What if a sandwich could help a person experiencing homelessness get a job? What if an ice cold drink could give hope to someone who has lost all hope?
It can!
The HopeWorks Hope Cafe was awarded the New Mexico Coalition to End Homelessness’ Non-profit Innovation Award for 2013. Hope Cafe serves as an employment training site for individuals attempting to leave the streets and escape poverty. Let’s celebrate the hard work and imagination we use to help our clients leave homelessness! Come try our amazing gourmet coffee and specialty foods while supporting HopeWorks programs!
The Coffee Shop opened in downtown Albuquerque on September 6, 2011. The shop relocated to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in 2017. All proceeds go towards funding programs at HopeWorks.
Hope Cafe serves specialty foods in addition to gourmet, locally-roasted, fair-trade organic coffees, flavored iced teas, lemonade, smoothies and more.
